It was only a brief survey of objects of interest for this alien, and his perspective can be a little skewed at times (not that the human involved didn't spend a lot of time on this project). I can show some prints next week to interested parties, health permitting.

ReplyDeleteI like these images very much, seems very successful at the assignment. especially the series of towers and telephone poles. there is something very sci-fi and other-worldly about them -- as if we are looking up at them as creatures or totem poles or vital structures.
then the other shots add to that, chairs seem least successful, but do fit in. I like garbage can and dumpster too, and statues also, I really do get that feeling of scrutiny, questioning, and cataloging objects to evaluate more later. and the idea of reversing to negative to try to somehow reveal something more profound works for me too. Good job!!
